Sarah has worked in a variety of roles in financial services for over 20 years, which has enabled her to develop a wealth of knowledge. These roles have been with both financial advisers and financial advice software firms, providing insight from both perspectives. Sarah thrives on employing a hands-on approach to working with firms and loves data and problem solving. Sarah has always had a passion for continuous improvement which has facilitated solutions for a range of clients on operational matters.

Outside of the office, Sarah is kept busy by her two younger children, two older children and two grandchilden. She loves exercising and claims she works to give her a bit of peace and quiet!

Dave Richardson

INCOME RECONCILIATION TEAM LEADER

Before Adviser Outsourcing, Dave spent 14 years at Npower, as a senior analyst responsible for process improvement usage forecasting. Dave joined Jacana in 2022, and moved over to Adviser Outsourcing with the purchase in 2024. Dave enjoys building his knowledge on the different systems and processes used, to enable the team to deliver the best possible service to all of the clients.

Dave lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife and two children (who are now adults!)
Dave loves football, catching up with friends over a drink, going for walks with his two dogs and spending time with his nephew, often spending the weekend exploring a castle or McDonalds!

Vicki Ball

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Vicki has worked in finance and operations in the UK, Australia and South Africa. With postgraduate qualifications in both business management and financial planning, she has worked for independent financial advisers for over a decade. She is passionate about wealth management and financial education and is happiest when working on spreadsheets and analysing data.

Having grown up in Botswana, Vicki loves wildlife and nature. She also enjoys the beach and has lived in Bondi Beach and Salt Rock. She is now based in a little Cotswold village and spends time exploring the countryside with her husband (when not in the kitchen or puzzling).

Vic works as an outsourcing consultant. Vic has worked in financial services for 25 years, having started as an administrator at an IFA. Vic then moved to work in an outsourcing company on income reconciliation, later moving into consultancy. Vic has fantastic knowledge on income processing across multiple CRMs. Coupled with this they love the consultancy challenge of helping firms get the best out of their software. We love setting Vic problems as they never quit without a solution!

Vic lives in the North with their wife and loves PC games, reading (they have a ridiculous amount of books!) and watching true crime documentaries! They also love travelling so will always have a workation and/or holiday booked!”

Sue Nuttall

CONSULTANT

Sue started her financial services career in 1987. She stayed in the sector following her relocation from Leeds to Newcastle in 1995, progressing from administration to giving advice, before moving into a management role. In April 2004 Sue established Jacana Limited, helping firms make the most of their back-office system. Exactly 20 years later, the business was sold to Adviser Outsourcing, where she is now a consultant.

Outside of work, Sue’s passion is animal welfare and in 2015 she set up Take Away The Tears. TATT is now a registered charity and Sue’s spare time is spent fundraising to support those that rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals along with looking after her own adopted dogs.

Lucy King

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Lucy has been in the financial services industry for just over 8 years, working as a client relationship manager and in the operations side of a small IFA. She has loved the variance of the industry and the different people and businesses she has come into contact with. Lucy is really excited to see what her journey with Adviser Outsourcing brings!

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her husband and little boy, along with their dog and cat. She enjoys spending time in her garden, at the gym or catching up with friends.

Hannah Banks

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Hannah began working in financial services at 19 and joined Adviser Outsourcing in March 2022, having previously worked for a company that specialised in defined benefit transfers. Hannah loves being organised which helps her to work effectively and prioritise efficiently. Hannah’s focus has always been to maintain excellent standards of service for the clients we work for and with. Hannah has a wealth of knowledge on IO and processes and is a key team member for helping complex clients.

Outside of work, Hannah has recently rediscovered her love of reading and she also enjoys spending quality time with family, catching up with friends, finding new music to listen to and planning even more DIY for her other half to complete!

Caroline Taylor

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Caroline is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and has worked in the financial services industry for over 16 years providing specialised back-office support for various IFA Firms. Previously she spent 5 years as an area representative managing a team of debt collectors. She also spent 10 years in financial/administrative positions providing group and one-to-one tuition. Along with a certification in bookkeeping, these valuable experiences enable Caroline to transfer and apply relevant skills and expertise to income reconciliation, problem solving and training.

Caroline loves animals. She keeps busy with her partner Dave caring for her dog Delboy and three hens. Other interests include reading, cooking, sudoku and magazine puzzles/competitions, relaxing in the garden and watching comedies and movies.

Alex Young

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Alex joined Adviser Outsourcing in 2021. After studying IT at college, he went on to focus on computer forensics and computer security at university. Originally part of the government kickstart team, Alex joined to help on some administration tasks where his skills at processing data were spotted. Alex now works within our income team as a key member doing the background processing. Alex also has a passion for looking for ways to integrate new technology into our services to make them more streamlined.

Alex is the youngest of three children with two older sisters. Outside of work he loves gaming and reading and has a very talented niece who does theatre shows that he supports regularly.

Vivienne Revell

INCOME RECONCILIATION PROCESSOR

Vivienne joined Adviser Outsourcing in 2023, based in the office in Hinckley. New to the financial sector, she started originally in an administration role, but after really enjoying helping with the income reconciliation side of things she moved roles permanently. Vivienne has found the whole learning experience fascinating and has relished being trained from such an experienced and knowledgeable team.

Vivienne lives in Leicester with her partner, two of her three adult children, and our dog Oreo. A huge lover of nature and animals, Vivienne loves the outdoors. She also has a long history of short-lived fads and hobbies, currently playing the guitar, doing DIY and exercising.

Debbie Swales

OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST

Debbie has 15 years’ experience in financial services, all of which have been back office based, specifically revenue reconciliation and business reporting. She has a wealth of experience in supporting firms merge through acquisition. Debbie also has a wealth of experience working closely with Financial Advice software firms directly supporting their clients with implementing new or upgraded FS software and training of end users. She loves a problem and a challenge and has been quoted as saying she’s never happier than with a ‘messy spreadsheet open’!!

Debbie shares four grown up children and two grandchildren with her husband Michael. She loves baking, shopping, drinking great fizz and coffee but not necessarily in that order!

Debbie started with Adviser Outsourcing in 2024. Prior to this, she worked for 18 months at Virgin Money Head Office processing deposits and withdrawals in savings. Before that, Debbie had various jobs in retail from hairdressing to working for 14 years for Morrisons, where she learned the importance of attention to detail and gained excellent customer service skills.

Debbie lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with her husband David and their two grown up children. They have 2 dogs called Lola and Macy.

In her spare time (not much) she loves to spend time with her family or catching up with friends over a drink or two. Debbie also enjoys going on holidays in the sun.

Michelle Johnson

INCOME RECONCILIATION PROCESSOR

Michelle began her working career in the energy business and stayed for 18 years, starting in customer service and progressing to the team manager, before being made redundant in 2018 when two energy companies merged. Michelle then joined Jacana in 2023 and moved over to Adviser Outsourcing after the acquisition. She loves working with the new team and learning more about the system along with helping develop the services we offer to clients.

Michelle’s son was born in September 2021 and after maternity leave, she decided she wanted a more flexible role. Working part time now allows them to spend lots of quality time together each week and she comes to work for a rest!

Nicola Rubeli

ADMINISTRATOR/ TRAINER

Nicola has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, gained mainly in the IFA sector, with a wealth of experience in back office operations. She previously worked at Iress offering training, coaching and consultancy on Xplan. She is looking forward to bringing as much of her previous experience to the table as possible to help clients with their variety of administration needs.

Nicola lives with her husband in a small town on the Herefordshire/ Welsh border with beautiful countryside on their doorstep and lots of peace and quiet. When not working, she loves catching up with friends over a drink or two or some great coffee and cake (she is a coffee snob!), pottering in the garden (weather permitting), enjoying local walks and lots of reading (her Kindle is never far from her when she has some downtime!)
