Adviser Outsourcing was established in 2015 by Sarah Challenor on the premise of problem solving for financial advisory business.
The team has over 50 years experience in financial services and strive to give the best possible client experience. This is coupled with an enthusiasm to keep up to date on the latest technological solutions to enhance operations where appropriate. Adviser Outsourcing head office is based in Hinckley and has remote workers across the UK to support the outsourcing services.

Owner and Consultant Director
Sarah has worked in a variety of roles in Financial Services for over 20 years, which has enabled her to develop a wealth of knowledge. These roles have been with both Financial Advisers and Financial Advice software firms, providing insight from both perspectives. Sarah thrives on employing a hands-on approach to working with firms and loves data and problem solving. Sarah has always had a passion for continuous improvement which has facilitated solutions for a range of clients on operations and preparing firms for sale. Sarah was also asked to be a host for the Volta Blue national business owners mastermind group which facilitates collaboration between business to problem solve.
Outside of the office Sarah is kept busy by her 2 younger children, 2 older children and 2 grandchilden. She loves exercising and claims she works to give her a bit of peace and quiet.
Steve has worked in financial services for over 5 years and was in a variety of process driven roles before that. Steve’s attention to detail and process mapping has been a fantastic asset within the business. Steve has been a great asset excelled training others within Adviser Outsourcing as they have come on board.
Steve shares the 4 children and 2 grandchildren with Sarah, so he is never bored. When not babysitting or trying to understand the latest social media trends, Steve enjoys spending time at the gym – and getting the rest of us into shape.
Caroline has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 13 years providing specialised Back-Office support for Financial Advice Firms. Previously Caroline has managed a team of Financial Debt Collectors and has been a Retail Regional Training Officer providing group and one-to-one tuition and writing Training Plans relating to Office and Accounting Operations.
Along with Certification in Bookkeeping, these valuable experiences enable Caroline to transfer and apply her skills and expertise to our outsourced services. She is a Process-Driven individual with an eye for detail and thinks of the wider business and impact of decisions. This makes her a key player when solution-building and working with Clients.
Caroline loves animals, she keeps busy with her partner Dave caring for 2 dogs and 6 hens. Other interests include Meditation, reading, and cooking.
Financial Services Administrator
Tracey has over 40 years experience in the insurance and financial services sector. Starting her career with a well known insurance company and independent financial advisers and more recently supporting Directors within Chartered Wealth Management. Tracey has built up a strong administrative background and her studies with the Chartered Insurance Institute has developed her extensive knowledge of protection, pensions and investments for both individual and corporate clients. Her main focus is to provide clients with the best possible support and enhance processes.
Outside of work Tracey and her husband Steve have a busy family life revolving around sporting events and being “mums taxi” to Matthew. She also has Abbie and her partner Ben and her grand-daughter Miley who keeps us all young. Most weekends are spent socialising with their family and friends and visiting their favourite restaurants and local places and when time allows loves to make the most of our beautiful coastal areas.
Financial Services Administrator
Lorna has worked in the Financial Services Sector for over 25 years in both Insurance Companies and Financial Adviser firms during this time. Lorna’s experience spans a wide variety of areas covering working with Private Wealth Clients, Corporate Pensions and an expert witness work for the Family Law Courts.
Lorna is extremely contentious and diligent in her work and always approaches matters with absolute attention to detail meaning that she delivers the best possible support to her clients and all in her usual approachable, friendly manner.
Outside of work, Lorna is a season ticket holder at Leicester City football club and enjoys spending time with her new Cavapoo puppy.
Barbara has worked in financial services for over 25 years, with the last 15 specialising in the mortgage area. Barbara’s experience as a qualified mortgage adviser and liaison for mortgage brokers has provided a unique insight for the outsourced service offerings.
Barbara works to provide support services for advisers in their administration processes and has an unprecedented level of patience for automated phone menu systems and hold music when it comes to providers
Barbara can often be found at 6am taking walks and doing yoga in the evening. Never one to sit still she often arranges charity walks. With no children currently at home she loves spoiling her grandchildren with their grandad.
Lauren has only been with us a short time and has been a fantastic asset from day 1. Along with her previous background in administration she relishes understanding technology, data and process. Lauren has a passion for continuing her education and is currently completing her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Sarah and Lauren can often be found “getting under the bonnet” of new software reviewing how it can enhance the service offerings. Lauren works alongside Sarah and Lucy in developing new products and service offerings for financial services firms.
Lauren has a variety of interests outside of the office and is also a bit of a beauty expert in her spare time. Inside of the office Lauren introduced a new library of music and is helping the rest of the team not embarrass themselves in front of their children!

Darren is an independent HR Director, and founder of Instinct HR; working in partnership with SMEs to manage all strategic and operational employee related matters, providing affordable bespoke HR support and solutions to suit your unique business needs. Including full HR department outsourcing.
Darren is an experienced HR professional, project manager and multi-site commercial leader, having worked across private and public sectors, in pharmacy, retail, supply chain, manufacturing, local government and non-profit organisations. Based in Nottingham, and Chartered MCIPD accredited.
Darren is a husband to Adele; and father to Olivia and Harry. A keen squash player and mountain biker; Darren enjoys live music and most forms of motorsport.
